PACKage Korea, Thank you for my new Holy Grail, my new love...

Sorry, honey. When you can melt sebum and dead skin from my pores, you will be back to #1. The Melt Me Softly nose strips from PACKage Korea are my new holy grail. I need these in my life. At all times. Seriously. The Everyday Bouncy sheet mask is another good edition to my collection, however not quite the HG that Melt Me Softly is.

I received these two products (Everyday Bouncy and Melt Me Softly) from PACKage Korea for reviewing purposes. I did not accept any money for this review and all of the opinions are my own and represent my feelings and experiences with these products.

Melt Me Softly

Ooooo baby you are so fine...and small. This is my first through after I removed my first Melt Me Softly nose strip. But it can't last...or can it? Four days after my first use, I could still see the results.

Ingredients

Water, Methyl Propanediol, Carbomer, Tri Ethanol Amine, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Caster Oil, Fragrance, 1,2-Hexanediol, Phenoxy-Ethanol, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Arctium Majus Root Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Extract, Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Extract, Saponaria Officinalis Root Extract, Hypericum Perforatum Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Camelia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Melaeuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water.

Directions

Simply take the nose strip out of the package and put it on your nose for 15-20 minutes. Then, massage the strip on your nose for a minute and wipe the sebum away. Ta-da!

The Results

The Melt Me Softly nose strip is not like any other nose strip I have tried. It is soft, not sticky. You do not have to rip it from your face and possibly loose skin. I was expecting another pore strip that yanks things out of your pores, but that was not the case. My first clue was that the foil packet was squishy. There was a lot of excess essence left over after I took the soft, wet strip out of the package. It felt like a normal sheet mask that was soaking in essence. The smell was pleasant and not overwhelming, but a bit odd. It was like a citrus peppermint smell. Pleasant, but odd. When I was trying to place the smell, I looked at the ingredients and was surprised to find mistletoe as one of the ingredients. Huh. Not just for some holiday action!

The nose strip had a pleasant tingly feeling that feels like a tea tree mask on your scalp does, and is slightly cooling. Pleasant is an understatement. It felt pretty amazing. When I massaged my nose with the pore strip still on and wiped away the excess sebum, I was amazed. My pores were very small. I was soooo excited, but I was assuming it was going to be a temporary effect of the essence and would be back to normal tomorrow. Wrong. Four days later, and my pores were still small. This pore strip literally got rid of the sebum in my pores. This is a product I have woven into my routine to do several times a week. Just imagine, if one strip achieved smaller pores, what happens when I use it twice a week?!?

Everyday Bouncy

The Everyday Bouncy sheet mask was an excellent moisturizer on my dry Wisconsin Winter skin. Not necessarily what I would call "skincaretainment", but an excellent staple in my skincare closet.

Ingredients

Water, Methyl Propanediol, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Arginine, Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Honey Extract, Propolis Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Glycerin, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, PVM/MACopolymer, Trehalose, Panthenol, Allantoin 

Directions

Remove sheet mask from foil pouch. Leave one face for 15-30 minutes. Remove mask and pat in essence.

The Results

The essence in the Everyday Bouncy sheet mask was of a gel-like consistency. It did not really have a scent until I got it close to my nose and inhaled deeply. I do not recommend this with a lot of things, as I am a bit of a klutz, and usually end up inhaling too much. This time it took a few tries, but I detected a faint plastic smell. I have a very sensitive nose and I had a hard time picking this up, so it won't be a problem for most people. Seriously, it was hard to detect.

As for the fit of the mask, the sides and forehead were amazing. They completely covered my face! Unfortunately for me, the cuts by the nose left half of my nose uncovered. My nose is a spot I pay attention to. It is usually dry all the time due to my year-round allergies. After 30 minutes, the mask was still wet. I could have gone longer, but I was getting sleepy. My face was plump and bouncy the next morning, and not a touch of grease to be seen on my skin!

Conclusion

Melt Me Softly is a must have for my routine. If it weren't already so close to Christmas, I would be giving these out to everyone. Dad would have gotten one. Everyday Bouncy is a good staple for dehydrated skin but not quite to HG status. I can't wait to see what else PACKage Korea comes out with!
