Lamy Cosmetics Part 2: Real 97% Rice Paper Eating Mask
This review will unfortunately be short as it did not turn out well for me. I picked up the Lamy Real 97% Rice Paper Eating Masks in green tea and turmeric out of curiosity, at the same time as I picked up the previously reviewed Lamy Rice Paper Eating Breast Mask. Unfortunately as a result I was dreading it a bit.

The Review
When I unpacked the two masks I was greeted by a tray, a rice paper mask in two parts (hydro gel cut) and a packet of essence.
The mask paper was thick and lumpy like football leather with each of the masks being slightly different colors.
The green tea flavored mask was slightly tinted green and the turmeric mask was a yellow color.
The instructions were to add the essence to the mask in the tray and soak for two minutes. The packet of clear essence had a strong floral scent as I poured it into the trays. And this was as far as I got. The floral scent was so strong that it triggered my asthma, so there was no way I was putting it on my face. In an effort to see what was causing my scent reaction, I studied the essences. THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME.
The Ingredients-The Essence
The difference for the masks was not in the essence, but in the masks. The ingredients for the masks themselves were rice, water, salt and either turmeric or green tea.
That’s it. At this point I am glad I did not put the mask on my face. What if the yellow in the turmeric of the mask stained my cute little face? Color-wise, I did not look that strong, but I never thought about that. I mean, when I cook with turmeric I stain my hands all the time. I am a messy cook though. I can see how the experience of these DIY-ish masks could be fun, but my sensitive nose isn't up to it.
