Aeria Skin Masks: A Review

I love a good sheet mask. They are the best when you put them on your face and your skin goes "ahhhhhh" from the additional luxury and moisture. That was the experience I had with the two Aeria Skin Masks I was sent for review from Amabie!

I received these products from Amabie in exchange for my honest opinion and I have not received any monetary compensation for this review.

Brightening and Soothing Eye Mask

The first mask I tried was the Brightening and Soothing Eye Mask. This was my favorite. This made my skin moan.

Ingredients

Review

According to the package, the eye mask itself is made of a "naturally derived charcoal rayon mask sheet" and is cut into a fun scalloped design. Makes me feel like a pretty bandit.

The eye mask was cooling and soothing. It was a perfect fit to my face and even stayed in place, unassisted, while I walked around and did chores. The scent of the product was very light and fresh. To smell the essence, you had to really try to smell it.

After the mask was removed, there was no residual scent. Now, one of the claims of this mask is its brightening ability. Usually for me, the ability of a product to brighten my skin takes more than one use to see a difference. I am quite pale and quite bright already.

The Brightening and Soothing Eye Mask made a considerable difference in the brightness of the skin under and around my eyes. There was also a reduction in puffiness!

Even-Tone Brightening Mask

Ingredients

Review

The Even-Tone Brightening Mask has a similarly light scent as the Brightening and Soothing Eye Mask. It was very faint, but pleasant. The sheet mask itself was made of 100% organic cotton.

While my face enjoyed the formulation, I did not enjoy the fit. There was too much fabric on the sides and barely enough on the chin. I usually have the opposite problem.

The essence was great. It left my face feeling moist and not the least bit sticky. When I woke up the next morning I was moist but not oily. Perfect!

Glittery Zen: The SainFengel Galaxy Purifying Gel Review

I have never had a skincare product that made me feel zen just from looking at it. Something about the SainFengel Galaxy Purifying Gel made me relax and stare into the black glittery abyss....Ok that was a little dramatic, but this really is a beautiful product.

I received this product from Amabie in exchange for my honest opinion and I have not received any monetary compensation for this review.

Inspired by the legend of an ageless prince, the SainFengel brand has its own research and development team in house to help develop the best products for our skin. The purpose of the Galaxy Purifying Gel fits that description perfectly. It's formulated to clean your pores, remove oil and blackheads as well as removing dullness and adding hydration. This product delivers!

Ingredients

Instructions

After oil cleansing and washing your face, apply a thin layer and make sure to stay away from your eyes. Rinse off after 10-15 minutes. Use it 1-3x a week.

The Review

This product was, as described above, aesthetically pleasing. It is a dark, black, glittery gel that becomes opaque as you spread it on your skin. The gel has a very faint fresh smell. It felt like such a luxurious product to be using.

This product works really well. I was surprised that something that reduced the size of my pores could also leave it so moisturized. I could tell as I wiped the gel off my face that my skin was moist to the touch. My skin almost seemed to have an extra barrier on it. The next morning my skin was plump and supple.

I really liked the SainFengel Galaxy Purifying Gel and I plan on trying more from this line in the future.

Goodal Premium Snail Tone Up Hydro Gel Mask Review

You know me, I looooove me some snail. And I love this mask as well. I am also liking the current hydro gel trend, so this mask was a must try for me

First off, this box is amazing. I saved it. It will be going in something creative, but I am not sure what yet. I love all manner of things shiny and snaily. On with the review.

Ingredients

The Review

This mask was a little difficult to get out of the package. There was a lot of excess essence in the package and the hydro gel had slid off the plastic backings into a lump in the bottom of the envelope. Subsequent masks were not as bad, but as I pulled the mask out, the masks slid off the backing.

The essence was creamy and had a light floral scent with was a lot of essence leftover. The mask itself was a thin gel that was very delicate and slippery. I was afraid I would tear the eye holes while I was putting it on, but it was fine. As a result of there being lots of essence, the mask was quite slippery and the lower half of the hydro gel cut mask, kept slipping on me. Not a lot, but just enough to be a bit irritating.

I look goofy/scary

My face was very sticky when I took the mask off after 20 minutes. It continued to have a sticky weird feeling for the rest of the night (I went to bed an hour later). I was assuming I was going to wake up with greasy skin, but I was very surprised. VERY. Not only did I wake up with brighter skin, but it was plump and not in the least bit greasy. But that is not the best part! My pores were tiny. TINY I TELL YOU! This mask is a definite repurchase for me. TINY!!!!!!!
